Women Against Rape (WAR)

Women Against Rape (WAR) is an advocacy and support organisation in St. John's, Antigua, that works with survivors of sexual and gender-based violence and campaigns on related law and policy. It is not an LGBTQ-specific organisation, though it may be a useful contact for anyone affected by violence on the island. We have no confirmed address, phone number or website. Antigua and Barbuda's High Court struck down the colonial-era laws against same-sex intimacy in 2022, but social attitudes remain conservative.
