The Attic Bar & Stage

The Attic Bar & Stage is a queer bar and drag stage upstairs at 1413 9 Avenue SE in Inglewood, above Vegan Street. Its anchor is Carly's Angels, a drag show that has run every Saturday since 2000. Visit Calgary also lists drag-king weekends on long weekends and a Leopard Lounge night on the last Friday of the month, and a Sunday drag brunch started in October 2026. Google lists it open Thursday to Sunday from 5pm, closing at 9pm or 10pm, so check the event listing for show times. It rates 4.8 from about 470 Google reviews. It's a show venue more than a dance bar, and the only queer stage east of downtown.
