We stayed in the Sandman before our cruise and after our cruise . The hotel facilities were excellent and the room had amazing views over the ocean . Teresa at reception was very kind and very professional and our arrival was warm and welcoming. Teresa answered all of our questions about the local area and the hop on hop off bus tours. Excellent service. Thank you very much !
Our room was on a high floor, so the view was good. Conveniently located. Lots of eateries and shops. Room was well equipped with a kitchenette complete with necessary utensils. There's also a washer and dryer which enabled us to do some laundry before we head off for our cruise. It's a shame we only stayed for one night.
Absolute nightmare reservation. Try to reserve with a Visa debit hotel does not accept Visa debit. We use the MasterCard and when the hotel tried to process it it froze the MasterCard. We explained what happened to the hotel and they gave us a few days to sort it out then out of the blue, they just canceled The reservation when I contacted the front desk I offered to pay with an E transfer just to hold the room, they didn’t accept it now we have nowhere to stay. Thumbs down to the Sandman never again.

Stayed here for 2 nights, was very central and easy to get places without a car. Short walk to ferries, buses and trains. Great food options nearby. Apartment was clean and well furnished.
Surpassed my expectations. Great location near beach and ferry to Granville Island. Dan at the front desk made our check in a great experience. Room was clean, modern and well appointed with a nice balcony.
