QSpot LGBTQ Community Center

QSpot is Asbury Park's LGBTQ+ community center, run by the Jersey Shore Community Center Project. Founded in 2005 as a volunteer network, it moved into a permanent home at 1601 Asbury Avenue in 2020. It runs youth, senior and family support groups, 12-step meetings and a Buddy Program pairing older LGBTQ+ adults with volunteers, as well as the QFest film festival, book clubs and a marching band. For visitors it is a good place to ask about local resources and events. Check qspot.org for group schedules and drop-in hours before visiting.
