Awesome lung space in the middle of the city. Absolutely lush green and great location to walk, run or just laze. Options include soft lawns, lovely park benches and large shady trees. Take ur pick.
The carousel is cute!
Beautiful place in boston
This is a great place to explore & park at while visiting Boston! We felt safe & enjoyed our time here! I would ride the swans in the garden, they were $4.75/ person. There are cute baby ducks & turtles! They were teaching kids on a field trip how to play cricket.
We could have spend several hours hanging out in the area. So much to do and so much to see. Walking the perimeter of the park to see all the statues memorials etc. Walking through the middle to see even more. Loved that there is an off leash dog park for the four legged babies. Plenty of paved trails to walk on and grass to sit on or lay down to relax and veg out for a bit.
A must-see if you're visiting Boston. In summer, it's an excellent place for strolling, reading, and exercising. Nestled in the heart of Boston's commercial and historical district, Boston Common is located in the city center. It's one of the oldest urban parks in the United States. According to official records, Boston Common encompasses 20 hectares of land bordered by five major Boston streets: Tremont Street, Park Street, Beacon Street, Charles Street, and Boylston Street.
Love to feed the squirrels there
An iconic location, great for picnics and siteseeing. Lovely gardens.
Magnificent
Belly of the been
it is a really nice park to walk around, specially now that is getting warmer out. 100percent recommended.
A must-visit place if you go to Boston
Blissful park
Beautiful park with all the flags for Memorial day
Boston Commons is absolutely beautiful in the winter time that's when I really love to see it! When the snow is falling it is a beautiful amazing sight! It's a huge Park along Tremont Street here in Boston! And when it's white and covered in snow it is a sight to behold! I love it here in Boston! And I love seeing this place in the winter time! Catch it at different times of the day or night in snow! It also reminds me of my heart, when snow is falling in Boston it covers any dirty ground or anything unsightly! And it just reminds me when Christ came into my heart, he covered a filthy heart, when I asked Jesus in to change my life it felt like fresh snow falling inside of me! And it covered everything inside of me with his precious blood! And it was absolutely beautiful on the inside when my life changed and my sins were forgiven! It wasn't enough for me to pray one prayer no, I stay in a relationship with Christ daily so that fresh snow covers me on the inside! And that's kind of the vision I see for my life! When I pray to him daily it is like fresh driven snow all over again! And it covers all the landscape of my heart! To be white and made new daily! Just like fresh snow! Sometimes when I pray I get this vision of snow falling! And it's very comforting and relaxing! But I also understand I have to maintain composure daily and remind myself that I am a new creation in Christ it's important for me to maintain this relationship with Jesus daily! Because if I don't I could lose that fresh driven snow daily that's why it's important for me to stay in contact with heaven not only feeling it in my heart but allowing him by faith to take over my heart daily in my life like fresh driven snow! As he cleans me all over again! May God bless you and be safe in 2026 happy New Year everybody!😀❤️🌨️
As we got the hop on hop off bus to see the many sights of Boston seeing this Beautiful city and surrounding areas right in front of our hotel was this lovely inner city park with large central lake surrounded by trees and grass with plentiful seating to sit and people watch as we had a coffee in the sunshine.
Did a freedom trail tour that started here so it was great to hear the history of the park. Its clean, well kept and every day we were in Boston something different was happening there - from a petting zoo being bought in for a day to mini markets. Lovely park!
I took a walk in this park at dawn and saw an outrageous number of squirrels running in the grass, jumping on the trees, etc. A nice park in a central area of Boston where you can take a walk and relax a bit.
The commons is very nice with a lot of things to see and look at
Nothing particularly interesting about this park. It is lovely and a great place to take a walk. Other than its age, there was nothing unique about the park itself.
Enormous park in the central area of Boston, even part of the trail of freedom, but deserves more care with conservation.
So nice to walk among the trees and see the sights
Boston Common is in the heart of the city and is a quiet lovely place (like Central Park in NYC) to wander around, get some exercise or get on the pedal boats or enjoy a picnic. So relaxing!
We saw this big park as part of a city tour. I would have liked to stop in, but the tour director did not allow time. This is what I learned about it as we drove by: Boston Common is a large public park in downtown Boston. It is the oldest city park in the United States. Boston Common consists of 50 acres of land bounded by five major Boston streets: Tremont Street, Park Street, Beacon Street, Charles Street, and Boylston Street. I like that there is green space in this busy city that is not blocked out by skyscrapers' The Common is part of the Emerald Necklace of parks and parkways that extend from the Common south to Franklin Park. The Visitor’s' Center for the city of Boston is located on the Tremont Street.
One of the oldest parks in the United States, in the center of the city, with more than 20 hectares. At Christmas visit the ice rink. On Boylston Street, touching the park is Boston Central Cemetery
