Crazy Fox Saloon is a small gay bar on Washington Avenue in Newport, Kentucky, across the Ohio River from Cincinnati. It is a neighbourhood dive in the classic sense: cheap drinks, a regular local crowd, a jukebox and bartenders who know people by name. It has been part of the Northern Kentucky gay scene for decades. It is not a dance club, so come for a drink and conversation rather than a big night. It rates 4.4 on Google from around 400 reviews. Newport's other gay bars are close by, and downtown Cincinnati is a short drive or rideshare over the bridge. Bring cash in case the card machine is down.
