The Lodge at Woodloch is a dream come true for anyone that likes to slow down and be pampered for a few days. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job ensuring we never ran out of anything. I was also excited to see the chocolates are high quality and dairy free! The robes and slippers are soft and cozy, the pool is heated to 85° and all three of the hot tubs in the pool area/outside were well kept and comfy. Beautiful, calm, and so luxurious. I took advantage of most of the spaces in the women’s retreat area and none of those disappointed either. The snow room is an interesting one. Classes and activities are also plentiful. I took a wine class, a graffiti art class, farm tour, chef demo, and the beekeeping class. All of the classes were fun and the employees were knowledgeable and kind. Deborah was so fun to make art with. Sam and Sara at the farm were so energetic and personable. Cj took great care of my partner on their hike. The food is also amazing. Meals times are relaxed and service is slow so expect to be there for at least an hour for each meal but 90 minutes is going to be standard for dinner, even for two. The kitchen accommodates all diets and I had some choices each meal which isn’t something I usually get with my dairy free pescatarian diet. They even had dessert/snack options for me! I spent some time in the spa getting services while I was there too. Sarah did my facial service, Morgan did my body wrap. Both services were perfectly executed. I was left feeling relaxed and refreshed. I even grabbed a couple of the eminence products that were used. The strawberry rhubarb moisturizer smells amazing and is so lightweight! The people here seem to really love what they do and it shows with how great my few days there were. I’ll definitely be back!

Nice experience, but very pricey. Pros: - Service, food, cocktails, coffee, spa, amenities and atmosphere were great! - Everything is remarkably clean - Lots of activities offered - It was a pleasure watching the deer, birds, squirrels, chipmunks and waterfalls from our hotel room deck! 😍 Cons: - The sound bath was nice except it was held in the room next to the fitness center so there were a lot of weights being dropped on the floor - that was distracting and took away from the sound bath experience. - The S’Mores are from 9am-5pm, it would have been nice if that was available in the evening around the campfire from 5pm to 9pm instead. - Valet is really the only option. You can self park, but the lot is far away. - The tea and coffee station stop at 5pm. Tea should at least be available anytime.

We have been coming here for the last 14 years and the food, activities and spa are exceeded only by the welcoming, caring staff. From the moment you are met at the security gate house until you end your stay by requesting your car and finding your luggage in the open trunk/hatchback, you are treated as a treasured guest and part of the Woodloch family.

My experience was from a spa day I was given for mother's day. It was me and a couple in the area where the hot tub waa up some steps and guess what I walked up to, the couple was having sex in the tub. Like really, I went to inform them of my experience from enjoying the facility to like really you can't wait for the right time to get it one. And let me tell you nothing was done about it. I just left after my family spent a small fortune for me to enjoy a day to myself to having to leave. Thanks for ruining a time I should remember as a solitude moment of relaxation to an x rated moment.

Massage at the Spa was amazing! Top notch, elite place!

We absolutely LOVE the Lodge at Woodloch. Netter price and better accommodates, food and activities than the one we have gone to for 20 years in Lenox, Massachusetts. Absolutely, a great place we love. A must to e ploee!

This place is $$$$ but if you can afford it it's worth it. The food, the service, the activities, the spa, the pool, everything is awesome. Lovely for a girls trip or romantic getaway, perfect for a 2-3 day stay. After that you might get bored.

I've stayed at the lodge several times in the past and this one might be the LAST!! Firstly let me state the good/great things: The Tree restaurant and staff is wonderful! Food is GREAT! Staff VERY ACCOMMODATING!! The Spa desk staff is accommodating, yet not super friendly. The Spa providers are wonderful. The floral displays are amazing and the staff preparing them are lovely. The activities are fun and the staff presenting the various events are knowledgeable and fun to be guided by. BUT... THE FRONT DESK, SPECIFICALLY THE MANAGER.... is Less than helpful... 1) upon going into my room, the housekeeping staff sprayed the room with something, not very eco friendly... The perfume smell was extremely strong and I had to open the windows, hoping to let out the smell. (it's February in the Pocono mountains!! do the math, it's very cold at that time of the year!) 2) I went to the front desk and all they did was click click click / type on their computer and make a note on my account NOT to spray my room prior to my next arrival. 3) I spent only the evenings in my room because it made me extremely nauseated the ENTIRE STAY... 4) My nights were spent with windows open and the heat off, since the ventilation system was making the smell very much stronger!! 4) My phone light was flashing and I when I called down asking if I had a message and they told me 'No, there was a glitch in their system and they would take care of it...' Well, it went off at various times during the days and nights of my stay. (oh and by the way the front desk said when I mentioned it... all you had to do was call down and we would shut it off...very patronizing... (well, that is what I did do...) 5) While in a cooking demo - let me tell you the demo was great - but the cooking oil smell made my more nauseous so I went to the front desk and asked if they could make an exception for me to skip my lunch, which would have happened in an hour or two, and to put my meal credit to the end of my stay... The woman I initially spoke with went to ask a superior. When her superior spoke with me, I explained my entire situation and I had (2) cups of ginger and peppermint tea in hand to help with the constant nausea, she responded "ABSOLUTELY NOT - THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS TO OUR RULE!!" Wow, that was off-putting... I explained that I had stayed at the Lodge numerous times. I would not normally ask for such an exception, but I was unable to withstand food and since we pay A LOT for our stay/meals I thought it would be considered. She told me 'ask for the take out menu and order the lunch and you can eat it the next day if you want'. I told the restaurant manager this scenario and he said he would speak with the front desk; which he did and corrected the situation for me. Thank you, restaurant manager. 6) Upon check out, the front desk asked if everything was ok and I proceeded to reiterate my situations and all she did was click click click/type on the computer... didn't say sorry nor try to ask to make amends, didn't even look at me in my eyes, just kept typing... I would never have expected such front desk responses as I received this stay! As I mentioned I have stayed at this resort NUMEROUS times in the past, predating the covid pandemic.

We went for my birthday to get a massage and spa - almost 900$ for what??? No food no alcohol??? And not one person even recognized that it was my birthday then why the hell ask if there is a special occasion??? The older lady who checked us in was so rude ! Asking her a question and as not allowed! She took high offense and brushed us off ! The jacuzzi was foamy and had a stench to it !!! And to end this - you’re not allowed to keep Your robe or slippers !!!! We won’t be back and I advise everyone else to steer clear as well !!!
