Great Location location location, front staff not that engaging, breakfast staff nice

I had an absolutely amazing stay at the Hampton Inn on Amelia Island! The hotel was located not too far from the harbor, so had a really fun time walking around and watching the boats pass by. Although the hotel is located downtown and not too far from restaurants and night life, the hotel was super quiet! I couldn't believe how big the rooms were! My suite had a kitchenette and giant couch/living area with TV. A separate room had a very comfortable bed and very clean bathroom. The morning breakfast was fantastic- plenty of healthy options to choose from. I really appreciated the hotel staff's kindness during my stay and will definitely make this a regular visit!

This is located in a perfect area where you can walk to all the restaurants and bars.

This historic Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton is perfectly located off of the Fernandina Harbor overlooking the Amelia Island. You can easily walk to shops, restaurants, & museums from this hotel location all within a min to 6 mins. The easy access to everything was perfect and the hotel itself is beautiful and historically charming. The staff is friendly and very responsive to your needs & requests. This hotel is high on the list for future return trips to Amelia Island!! 🏝️ ~🌻Gabrielle G.

Nice hotel that is pet friendly.

Nice hotel breakfast good also weekly afternoon reception included & very good 1/2 price alcohol & no charge for food. Women preparing it Brenda- is great! Toilet got stopped up, but fixed Drain very slow Clean room & housekeeping did a good job. The hotel is right by railroad tracks & train comes thru EVERY MORNING & is sooo loud!!! It rings the bell non stop starting at like 6am ! 😡 obviously not hotel's fault/ just annoying!!! Not a large pkg.. Lot but pkg. Across street also . Sleep not great - just loud with delivery trucks & that train! Pets allowed so lots of dogs & in eating areas should not be allowed! Interesting town

My mom, niece, and I recently took a quick trip to Amelia Island for the first time, and we are so glad we chose to stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Historic Harbor Front. From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay was wonderful. We had a beautiful room with an incredible view, and the entire experience — the staff, breakfast, pool, and overall atmosphere — was exceptional. On our last night, my mom unfortunately tripped and fell on the brick streets in town while we were on our way to dinner. Thankfully, aside from some bruises, she was okay. What truly stood out during that stressful moment was the kindness and compassion shown by the hotel staff. Keelie at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She immediately got us a first aid kit and ice pack and went out of her way to make sure my mom was okay. I also want to give a special shout-out to Jessica, who worked the day shift during our stay. She was equally kind, professional, and incredibly helpful. We had the pleasure of seeing both of these wonderful women each day and evening of our trip, and their warmth and hospitality made our experience even more memorable. Amelia Island is a beautiful and special place, our hotel was perfect, and meeting Keelie and Jessica made our trip that much better. I would highly recommend the Hampton Inn & Suites Historic Harbor Front to anyone visiting the area. And if you have the opportunity to say hello to Keelie or Jessica, I highly recommend doing so. 5 * Overall good hotel, comfortable beds, clean comfortable rooms, very cold AC, nicely acquanted. Older but nicely kept. Easy parking, I'd skip breakfast there but it's free so i'll give them a pass. My biggest complaint is the "chargepoint" electric car chargers. This is straight robbery - cost me nearly $5 for ONE KWH, to fill the battery to 80% would have been $300. insane. I don't know what their affiliation is with the hotel but it's only for hotel guests use and on their property. With the lack of electric chargers around Amelia Island it would be nice if there were better options and not trying to just price gouge you. Hotel - stay - Charger - SKIP!!

If travel plans take you to Amelia Island and Fernandina I highly recommend this Hotel. Location is perfect to walk to restaurants and other attractions.
