Loved our time at Moxy, and Angel was the best bartender!

Lovely hotel with friendly staff! Very clean and nice spaces to hang out in. Very close to the bars and clubs, so potentially not the best for light sleepers because the noise does carry. Overall enjoyed our stay!

Review: - No closet or dressers in the rooms. Had to live out my suitcase while I stayed there. - No ice machines. Had to go to the lobby every time we needed ice. - Bad Valet set up. It took forever to get my car. On one occasion they brought me the wrong car! - NOISE - Loud techno music until 2:00AM from a night club net door. You are not going to get much sleep. - Location - Great location but a lot of homeless people. Did not feel safe walking around. - Our sink only had hot water. No cold water and the hot water was scalding hot. Not great for brushing teeth.

The hotel was nice. Check in counter was also a bar. Only downside was room didn't come with a fridge or microwave and I didn't see an ice machine or ice bucket had to get ice at the bar. Other than that everyone was nice.

If you like dirty locations, bad drinks and loud environments, this is the location for you! What a disappointment!! I love the Moxy in Charleston and thought Houston would be similar however it was not. The elevator was always dirty, bed comforter had stains, when I asked for a new one, someone brought over a bed cover that was inside those hallway closets, God only knows how long it was there for. Every drink we asked for at the bar wasn't good, there was one breakfast option available out of 3 or 4 options. The location is definitely not it! You can't drive up to the hotel, valet is on the nearest side street. Needless to say, we will not be going back.

Loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Music at the outside bar was incredibly loud, impossible to sleep. If they want to be a hotel then get rid of the music !!!!! Avoid this place if you want rest .

We checked in late and stayed one night. We had to check in at the bar. the music was loud there were only a few customers and maybe some employees at the bar but it was all extremely loud. I could barely hear the Check in person/bartender. I did not find them particularly friendly but that’s OK - hard to tell In that kind of atmosphere. The room was extremely small not very well appointed at all; one wall was just pretty much all gray the other side had some weird printed off posters hung up with binder clips. I didn’t get it at all. I do have to say that the room was very clean. We did have two large windows one was a view of a stairwell the other had a little bit of a side view of a building wall next door. I would agree the mattress was somewhat hard and there was limited bedding. We could hear the music either from downstairs or next-door for a while but we finally managed to get some sleep regardless. I did not hear an excessive amount of street traffic. I certainly would not consider this opttimum family or a kid friendly hotel. I would not stay at this hotel again. I would definitely look for something else; even if it cost more money. and this was not a cheap room. but certainly was not our style. We travel quite often probably more than most people. I’m sure itgis hotel may appeal to some people, but I don’t know who.

Why is this hotel taking reservations when you can not sleep there due to the loud noises coming from the bar/club? We wanted to have the quiet night after doing so many busy activities for the houston fleet week. My goal was to go to sleep at around 8pm to catch a 5 am flight and not a single second of sleep! Ordered the car through valet, was outside at the set time - the guy still sleeping! Could have been ok with no fridge and microwave, the rooms are clean and bed is comfy. But the noise… omg terrible headache on the plane now

Bed was HARD.

A mediocre hotel—I’d say it’s the Marriott’s poor cousin. The room lacks a mini-fridge and a safe, even though there is clearly space for them; furthermore, a lightbulb in the chandelier was burnt out. There is also no room service. The entrance faces the train/subway tracks, making it impossible to pull up and park directly in front of the hotel; finding the place was very confusing, as the street is overrun with homeless people. The night security guard on Sunday was extremely rude when asking me to leave the lounge, making for an uncomfortable experience. After checking out, I asked the front desk staff if parking was included; they confirmed that it was. However, upon arriving home, I discovered I had received an email billing me for parking—something I had specifically asked about more than once to ensure it was already paid for. I would not stay here again.

I met Jamesha first thing as I walked in the door and I just knew it was gonna be a blast staying here. She is friendly warm and kind and gives great suggestions for food and drink. Also she makes the best latte!

Jamesha , was very very friendly at 10:45 and her attitude and vibes was super amazing! I loved that she was very welcoming & made me feel as if I was home with my homegirls !!!! Her vibe is the type of vibe you would love to wake up to in the morning!!!!! Will be stay agin & agin
