Now entering minute number 45 of our 15 minute wait...

This rating is for a private event we had on May 29th. The first hint of miscommunication was when we first booked it. We had inquired for 35 guests. By the end of the day, it was 30. I let them know before the contract was written up. The contract was for 35 people. The day of the event, we had people that RSVP'd that never showed up. Our total guest count was 21. We let the staff know. We were still billed for 35 guests. We asked if we could come set up an hour before our event. Our event was at noon. They said that was fine. We arrived around 11:30 and they were still setting our room up, carrying tables into the room. We were asked to please stay out of the staff's way. We were told they didn't know we were coming this early. We were told they didn't realize how much room they needed for food. We had booked our event over a month prior on April 16th, including our menu selections. Also, THEY are the ones providing the food- what do you mean you don't know how much room your food takes up?! Since they gave us an "intimate" room, there was nowhere for our guests to wait while they set up. At least a dozen of said guests were standing outside waiting for the room to be finished being set up. What if it had been raining?! They finally finished setting up nearly a half hour after our event was supposed to start. There were signs and serving utensils missing for some of our food. The room was crowded. Staff and guests had to take turns squeezing by each other. We had requested 2 easels for use. The one easel didn't even fit in the room and we had to put it out in the hall. Also, just a heads up, if you use valet like we opted to, just know that THEY LEAVE YOUR KEYS ON THE TIRE OF YOUR CAR!! I know because my brother had forgotten something in his car. When he told the attendant he needed his keys, the attendant told him the keys were with the car, on the tire. When we left the event, my uncle had messaged valet to let him know he was ready for his car. We said our goodbyes and left. When we got outside, we saw the attendant had left my uncles car running, unattended in the parking lot- they didn't even bring it to the curb! When it came time to pay the bill, they asked if we had paid a security deposit, we did. They said they didn't have proof or a copy of it. I opened my email to show them the conversation involving said deposit. I showed them the copy of the deposit receipt that they had sent us, again, over a month prior. It showed we paid the deposit. They had to get the general manager involved to take the deposit amount off our bill. At this point, I was expecting the general manager to come talk to us. Nope. He didn't even acknowledge us. The ONLY person who reached out to us to see how everything went was OUR SERVER. The food was phenomenal. The location is beautiful. But we will never be back due to how horribly they handled our event.

Ate here for mother's day. Food and service just flat out horrible. Will never be back.

Lovely place for a drink after work and a date night dinner

We were seated right away and the host was friendly, providing a table outside at our request. We arrived 15 minutes before the dinner menu was available at 4:00 PM, so we ordered an appetizer, the margherita flatbread, while we waited. As a note, aside from a few added entrees, the dinner menu is not much different than the lunch menu. Our server, as well as all the staff, was friendly and helpful with choosing our entrees and a wine flight. My husband had the Truffle Angus Burger, and I had the Stuffed Griggstown Chicken Breast. We both thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. Our entire meal was perfectly cooked. Although the management had decided to close off the patio towards the end of our meal because the temperature had dropped significantly, we were not rushed or asked to go inside, allowing us to finish our meal outside. Our only observation was that there seemed to be an issue between several staff members who argued in front of us and the other customers. We would suggest that staff find a more private place to resolve whatever issues they might have while on the job. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This review is for the Inn not the restaurant. The Inn is an amazing value especially for what we paid due to being a Thursday night. The complimentary Continental breakfast was delivered to the room at no charge. Excellent!

Very disappointed in the lack of communication with restaurant management. They are not reachable by phone. My experience ruined the recent Easter buffet. If patrons could not attend due to illness there is no recourse to the $80 prepaid buffet. This was not disclosed on their flyer for the Easter buffet or when reservations were made (and paid). I will not return. This is just about the money to them.

First time here. Loved the walkability. Room was very clean & comfy. Front desk staff & room service staff were very polite & helpful. Pros- great water pressure, soap dish (you’d be surprised how many hotels don’t provide, making a mess at the sink, so thanks!) Cons- no mini fridge in room (I need cold water), pillows are way too soft for me. Would definitely return.

yucky yucky smell in the bar and in the bathrooms like a skunky body odor that just completely tarnished my appetite, will not be dining here again
