Sapphest: NYC’s Premier Sapphic Playwriting Competition & Play Festival

Sapphest returns to Brooklyn Art Haus with the fifth installment of NYC’s premier sapphic playwriting competition and play festival.

The festival features seven original 10-minute plays by this year’s winning sapphic playwrights, brought to life by NYC’s hottest sapphic directors and actors. Each play is inspired by a different sapphic song, and audiences will have the chance to match each play to the song that inspired it.
Sapphest is a celebration of sapphic, lesbian, queer, and trans storytelling, artistry, and community!
