Rhode Island Pride

Rhode Island Pride is the volunteer-led nonprofit that organizes the state's annual PrideFest and the famed Illuminated Night Parade in downtown Providence each June. Rhode Island's Pride tradition dates to its first march in 1976, and the modern festival now draws well over 100,000 people, making it one of New England's largest LGBTQ+ celebrations and the only major nighttime Pride parade in the region. The organization advocates year-round for the state's LGBTQ+ community.
