The Selden

The Selden is a Midtown Reno LGBTQ+ bar that opened in June 2026 inside the former Junkee building at 960 S Virginia Street. Created by Tyler Colton, the owner behind The Emerson, it bills itself as an all-inclusive, upscale cabaret and dance bar. Expect DJs, dancing and drag across six nights a week in a lounge-style space that has quickly become a hub for Midtown's queer nightlife. Its arrival, alongside Out of the Closet, marked a notable revival of dedicated gay venues in Reno.
