Clifton 3rd Beach

A beautiful beach that's easy to enjoy and a bit quieter than the neighboring sections. Definitely worth a visit.

Great beautiful beach

Wonderful beach. Lovely white sand. Big, strong waves. You can get a sunbed for R100, and a parasol for R100. It wasn't too crowded either. There's a massage tent, which is really ideal. I had two massages, one of which was a four-handed massage.

Excellent spot, not busy at all and super clean. Get ready to climb down several stairs in a maze between villas lol! Water is freezing cold though - a part from that is perfect !

Great beach

The place is nice, but I think there are better, though not necessarily better, views. It was sunset, and the weather was a bit hot. If it were close by, it would be great, but going out of your way isn't worth it; there are better views elsewhere. Honestly, the photos there are beautiful, combining the sea and nature. There's parking, and you have to take a rather long staircase down for adults.

Water cold. And many steps to climb.

A cozy and quiet beach. The white sand is incredibly fine. You'll need to park on the road and walk down a narrow alley. There are helpful signs along the road. The waves look rough in winter. It's better in the afternoon than in the morning.

Nice beach and very good location.

Wonderful beach, very pleasant for spending the day! There are umbrellas and sunbeds for rent (around 230 ZAR) and you can pay by card. There are no beach bars, but vendors often pass by. You park at the top and there are stairs leading down to the beach. The water is freezing, so dips are very quick; you can't stay in the water for long. Clifton 3 is, of the four sections of the beach, the most "gay-friendly," without being entirely gay-friendly.
