この場所について Clifton 3rd Beach

Clifton 3rd is the beach Cape Town's gay men have used for decades, one of four coves at Clifton divided by granite boulders on the Atlantic Seaboard. It is a regular public beach, so expect a mix, but on warm summer days the gay crowd sets the tone, especially toward the boulders. Access is by long staircases down from Victoria Road, and parking along the road fills early on hot weekends, so arrive in the morning or take a ride-hailing car. The Atlantic water here is cold even in midsummer, and the coves are reasonably sheltered from the southeaster wind. There are few facilities on the sand, so bring water, shade and sunscreen, and do not leave valuables unattended.

Beautiful snow-white beach with incredible architecture in the surrounding area.

It's too crowded here for my liking. That probably only applies to weekends, but we were here on a Sunday. Plus, it's not easy to find a parking spot up here on Sundays. It's actually better to take an Uber. Theoretically, you could also walk here from Sea Point.

The beach and the surrounding nature are very beautiful. However, private villas and hotels border the beach directly. There is no infrastructure such as restaurants, showers, or toilets. Therefore, it's rather unsuitable for beachgoers.

Very nice beach. Sun loungers and umbrellas can be rented on site (R100 per lounger and umbrella). Ice cream and drinks can be purchased from vendors who walk up and down the beach. Don't miss them, as they make their presence known by loudly calling out their offers. They are all friendly, though. A Coke cost R40, and an ice cream was around R50-R60.

Excelent Spot amazing beach but the people who are around there and giving drinks ice creams the don’t leave you to relax as they want to sell, and secondly the rental of the umbrella and the sunbeds is very expensive and they take your money even at 16:50 and then at 17:00 they are starting closing the beach means they take away what you have pay for it without even telling you that!

Really nice beach with really nice sand. It’s a little walk down and up, but it’s worth it
