Flintstones Guesthouse Review This was a disappointing stay. I was charged more than the price listed on the website. Not by much, but enough to feel misled. The room looked nothing like the photos, which are of much bigger rooms. The communal kitchen was in poor condition. The “king-size” bed was just two singles pushed together. I brought two of my own pillows, and staff responded by removing all the guesthouse pillows and leaving me with two unwashed cushions. The manager was rude and confrontational when I raised concerns, and repeatedly told me I could leave if I wasn’t happy. To make matters worse, the guesthouse is located on a noisy main road, so sleep was difficult. Overall, not recommended. There are better options for the same price nearby.

A True Home Away from Home Since November 2024, I have had the pleasure of staying at Flintstones Guest House in Cape Town on a long-term basis, and I can confidently say that this has been one of the best accommodation experiences I have ever had. What was originally just a place to stay quickly became a home, thanks to the exceptional hospitality, cleanliness, and comfort that Flintstones offers. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth, and that feeling has remained throughout my stay. Pamela and Lindiwe, two wonderful staff members, have been an absolute joy to interact with. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care for guests make all the difference. Whether it’s their friendly greetings and conversations, ensuring that rooms are always spotless, or assisting with any reasonable requests related to the guesthouse, they truly elevate the experience. Jo, the property manager, has been absolutely fantastic - always approachable, professional, and dedicated to making sure everything runs smoothly. Beyond her excellent management, she has gone out of her way to make my stay even more special. She introduced me to the Century City Parkrun, which has been a fantastic experience - though I’ll admit, I sometimes bail out due to my laziness! Her energy, encouragement, and enthusiasm have truly enriched my time here. The guesthouse itself is a gem. It is impeccably clean, well-maintained, and provides a relaxed atmosphere that is perfect for both short and long stays. The rooms are comfortable, the common areas are inviting, and the overall setup ensures privacy while still fostering a sense of community among guests. The affordability of Flintstones is another huge plus - it offers great value for money without compromising on quality or service, which is rare to find in Cape Town. What stands out most is the consistency of excellence. It’s easy for a place to impress in the first few days, but after months of staying here, I can confidently say that the service, cleanliness, and overall experience remain top-notch. Whether you’re visiting Cape Town for a few days or looking for a long-term stay, Flintstones Guest House is an excellent choice. It’s more than just accommodation - it’s a place where you feel cared for, respected, and truly at home. I highly recommend Flintstones Guest House to anyone looking for a place that combines comfort, affordability, and outstanding hospitality. My time here has been nothing short of amazing, and I am grateful to Pamela, Lindiwe, Jo, and the entire team for making it so special.

Flintstones Guest House Cape Town is a nice place but the treatment I received from one of their lady by the name of NONO was so not up to standard, she was tribalist ill treated me for being ZULU which was no necessary. I had to report this to my company, as of then I dnt use Flintstones anymore.

I will use Flintstones Milnerton over and over again. Super Service and great hospitality. Big ups to Jo and her stuff. I stayed there for #TTOM 2023 Marathon and this year's #TTOM 2024 Marathon. We were just given our uninterrupted space. Will definitely 💯 👌 come back in 2025 again.

Jo and her team were very helpful and the rooms are clean and provide everything you need to be comfortable. Was a pleasure staying there for a few days and will be back.
