Hilton Beach is the strip of sand tucked beneath the Hilton hotel, sitting at the northern tip of Tel Aviv’s seafront promenade. The stretch next to the breakwater has served as the city’s gay beach for decades. It’s not a standalone venue, just a section of public beach where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, hit the beach bar, and rely on lifeguards during posted hours. Friday and Saturday afternoons draw the biggest crowds, as does the run-up to Pride week in June. You’ll see locals, tourists, and a high volume of gym bodies. Stick to your lane: the dog beach sits to one side, and the gender-separated religious beach (Nordau) is on the other. Don’t wander over in a Speedo. The midday summer sun is brutal. Go late afternoon.
