DoubleTree by Hilton Wellington

Fantastic 2 night stay in the heart of Wellington. Location was fabulous. Bed was super comfortable and staff were amazing. Super friendly and helpful. Loved the warm cookie on arrival.

Right in the heart of the city and everything walkable. The staff is polite and willing to help. Parking is in a separate parking structure on the opposite side of the building on floors 5-7. You still have access to the hotel through the parking structure. I only wish you could open the windows.

Fantastic stay in Wellington CBD, exceptional service! We had a great experience staying here. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you arrive. A special shout-out to DJ, the Duty Manager at the restaurant, who went absolutely above and beyond to look after us and made our visit memorable. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a wonderful place to stay right in the heart of Wellington CBD!

Beautiful old hotel of the art Deco style. Dined at the restaurant and was impressed with the food and wines. The staff were very attentive. As a wheelchair user I had the accessible room and it was good. Good car parking Will definitely stay there again

For our staycation we visited the Double Tree by Hilton. Every single staff member is smiling and enjoying themselves and that rubs onto the customers. We had a great stay. Its a great location. Breakfast was unbelievable and the little treats like the cookies and room goodies was just perfect. Thank you. Just what we needed.

I flew in for work from Hamilton and the concierge were lovely, hot cookies on arrival! They upgraded my room as it was my first time. I was in awe at the place! Real luxury. I had a long hot bath and then ordered room service, the truffle potatoes and the prawn pasta. Watched some TV, Had the best sleep. Woke up and had a coffee on the pod machine. Left early in the morning around 6am. Thank you so much for making me feel special.

The hotel was located right opposite Cable car station and Lambton Quay shopping. Park needs to be reserved and extra $40 per night. The parking is at Wilson parking behind the building (direct lift to hotel lobby), however the car spaces are very limited so there is a chance for car park being full. The building gives a perfect retro British vibe, the lobby is quite small but very cozy and niche. Hotel room is very nicely renovated and beds are very comfy. The only downside is we stayed at level 1 with a balcony. The street is very noisy at night that we can hear inside the room. The window didn't seems to be sound-proof at all. And the Woolies truck were doing restock every night around 11pm which was very loud disturbing noise, even the hotel has provided ear buds.

Really cool Art Deco building converted into a modern hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are large. I had a rainfall shower and an old-fashioned bathtub. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices, including fresh fruit. Great location, able to walk around town easily and Airport Express bus service about 2 minutes away.
