ICAB (The Institute of Cultural Affairs Belgium)
Visitors frequently praise the ICAB for its clean, simple rooms, friendly staff, and peaceful garden, noting its good central location. However, some guests found the atmosphere to be cold and impersonal, and a few mentioned the breakfast could offer more variety.

The rooms are simple, but clean. The bed is comfortable, you have everything you need in the room including space to work. Sink in the room, toilet and shower in the corridor. Quiet and nice atmosphere - a bit like in a monastery. Safe and decent breakfast - simple but everything you need is there. Nice staff. Nice garden. Centrally located. Will try to come back again, good for the soul. Possibly a little noisy, but not disturbing. Around the corner there is a nice cheese shop that sells good lunch sandwiches.
100% deserves it's high rating, the customer service and friendliness of the staff here in my experience!
A real community place
It's a very good place to stay in Brussels for some days, specially if you are thinking in balancing going to the city centre an the European district since it's well located walking around 15-25 minutes everywhere (depending on where you go, obviously). The personnel is very gentle, they ease everything during your stay, at least in my own experience. Breakfast is quite a basic but a very good one considering the price. The facilities are a bit old, but it's a well maintained place and the age of the building is probably part of the charming. I have rated 4 stars the room because it was a bit smelly due to the carpet of the floor, something worked out once aired the place the next opening the windows. The size of mine was huge, a lot of light considering December in Brussels and quite confortable even when bathrooms and showers are shared. If I go back to Brussels, I will probably stay there again, so I could really recommend the place to stay with a very good balance between quality, price and location.
Lovely place, very cosy and feels homey. By far the cleanest accommodation I’ve come across in Brussels, it’s spotless! Comfortable, good location, nice staff and a basic breakfast included - one of my favourite places for a short stay.
Fantastic friendly place to stay. A really quiet location in a busy part of the city. I always enjoy staying here.
