Checkpoint Odense is the Danish AIDS Foundation's free sexual-health clinic, on the first floor of Jernbanegade 16 near the station. It offers free HIV, hepatitis and STI tests, plus counsellors who can talk about HIV, chemsex and difficult sexual experiences. AIDS-Fondet's booking site, mitcheckpoint.dk, listed it in October 2026 as open on Mondays and Tuesdays from 16:00 to 18:00, for drop-in or booked appointments. It closes in July and over the last two weeks of December.
