La Rivière House - Hausboot Carpe Diem

Two-night stay on this houseboat! Very disappointed for the price! We played some music on the deck and the police arrived to tell us it was forbidden there... The owner hadn't warned us! To make matters worse, the bedding was poor. I won't be back.

A lovely spot by the water, with welcoming hosts. The houseboat is clean, the beds comfortable and spotlessly clean. I highly recommend coming here for a wonderful stay. Letty

A truly timeless moment – ​​so peaceful. An appetizer platter that was as pleasing to the eye as it was to the palate, featuring excellent products. We just celebrated our intimate wedding aboard the Carpe Diem barge. Everything was perfect! We wanted a cozy little haven to celebrate with our loved ones, and they were all delighted with the setting and the services. A huge thank you for making this moment unforgettable and timeless. We had a wonderful weekend, lulled by the sound of the water against the boat's hull. An experience to repeat. We loved the perch. Thank you so much. I highly recommend it. A true escape.

This is not a place to have parties on the dock! You're disturbing the neighbors! Well past 10 PM! We'll call the police every time! What are the owners doing?! I'm not the only one complaining!

Private parking but not very secure.

An unusual, peaceful, and waterfront location. The houseboat is beautiful, and the lounge and bedrooms are well-appointed. Perfect for an evening where you can meet other guests. We discovered this rental through the Loire Atlantique package (boxloireatlantique). Booking this way includes: - an appetizer platter for dinner, which was good but nothing special, - bicycles that we planned to use to visit Nantes, about 5km away. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the bicycles as they were in poor condition, one of them completely unusable. These two additional services, not living up to the exceptional nature of the location, prevent it from receiving a fifth star. A shame. That said, a night alone there remains an unforgettable experience.
