Blue Boy Bar

Well, there's a lot to explain...

So, I'm always here when I'm in Berlin. I can defend myself against pushy young men if necessary, but they don't bother me.

Yesterday, I (who arrived with a younger companion) experienced very unfriendly and rude service from a bartender (of North African appearance, around 40 years old)! I always expect a factual answer to a factual question, not cold, dismissive reactions. Even if a North African from a different culture has a specific mentality and may have experienced a different socialization, he should still be expected to adapt to local customs at least to some extent as a bar server. It seems likely that something is going wrong on the part of the current owner or manager!

Good audience, nice music

Nice bar with delicious drinks. I can't understand the reviews from some of the other reviewers – the bartender was very friendly to me!

This guy behind the bar is pretty crazy (but he's very good at cleaning and hygienic) & Allan is the best and more sophisticated than everyone else. This regular, Wolfgang, is supposedly good, but probably only at the beginning to win the guys over; after that, his bad sides come out. Josef (also a regular) possibly helps asylum seekers (he helped me a lot without asking for anything in return and wouldn't let anyone touch him, nor did he touch me). He's incredibly friendly and very decent.

I always enjoy coming back...nice guys, nice staff
