Not open, although supposedly open

I had a very bad experience at this club. Ten minutes before my arrival, my friends (all without student IDs) were allowed in. At the entrance, I was asked for my student ID. When I said I didn't have one, I was asked to leave. There was no mention on the website or anywhere else that this was an event exclusively for students, so my companions and I were confused by this decision from the door staff. We weren't dressed inappropriately (casual hoodie and jeans), nor did we behave inappropriately. After observing the door staff for a while, we noticed that the owner was obviously picking people out of line arbitrarily, for no apparent reason, who didn't suit him. I'm very disappointed by this behavior, especially since the club presents itself as progressive and tolerant, yet acts so biased at the door. Since other people weren't asked for student ID, it can be concluded that these decisions by the operator were completely arbitrary. I will avoid this establishment in the future and recommend that everyone else do the same.

Once you're in the queue... you might as well just go home. (Of course, the club can't do anything about it...) It's still running more smoothly at other places... What a shame.

The music is extremely mainstream… it feels like the DJ is just playing a Spotify playlist. But you can still get drunk and have fun. The service at the bar was very good, except for one time… we ordered an Astra and got an Astra Rocket. We had to argue with the blonde bartender for quite a while before we got the correct drink we had ordered.

I feel like I only come because of the security at the entrance. Best guys. One evening, all my friends went home early, but I didn't want to leave yet, so I just chilled with them for the last two hours. They even gave me a cigarette. Zange and one of his colleagues need a raise. They're really one of the few reasons I stay longer and am in a good mood (the two of them together are hilarious). 40% of the reason I even come to Gisela's. Drunk, a portion of fries was a real treat. Highly recommended. 20% of the reason I come. 55% because my boyfriend is there partying with his colleagues and I have to keep tabs on him. Just stay home.
