Deutsche Eiche Sauna

I was at the Deutsche Eiche today, April 22, 2026, at approximately 4:20 a.m., and I am absolutely shocked by the way I was treated there. At reception, I simply declined the paid rental offer for towels and shoes, as I had my own equipment. When asked about my plans, I politely replied that I would like to sit naked in the restaurant area to begin with. Before I could even finish my sentence—I wanted to add that I would, of course, use the sauna afterward—the employee interrupted me in an extremely harsh and condescending tone. Without any justifiable reason, I was immediately told to leave. This man's entire demeanor was completely unpredictable and, based on clear physical signs (dilated pupils, uncontrolled voice), gave me the strong suspicion that he was either acutely impaired by drugs or suffering from severe mental instability. Before I could finish my sentence—I was about to add that I would, of course, use the sauna afterward—I was interrupted by the employee in an extremely harsh and condescending tone. This incident unfortunately has a backstory: Two months ago, this same employee at the bar claimed there was no food left, whereupon his colleague Bogdan served me just minutes later without any problems and in a friendly manner. At the time, this employee had to offer a lengthy explanation and apology. Today's incident therefore appears to be a deliberate personal "revenge" for the embarrassment of that earlier incident. Such behavior is damaging to the business and completely unprofessional. Since the entire area is under video surveillance, I hereby formally request that management secure the video footage from April 22, 2026, between 4:15 and 4:35 a.m. and investigate this incident internally. The recordings will unequivocally demonstrate the employee's disproportionate actions and aggression. Legally speaking, this arbitrary refusal of service as a personal act of revenge constitutes an abuse of the right to control access to the premises (prohibition of harassment under Section 226 of the German Civil Code). Furthermore, the suspicion of staff unfit for duty in the hospitality industry poses a significant safety risk. I expect a prompt explanation from management regarding this incident and expressly reserve the right to take further legal action.

Was there on Saturday, 18/4/2026. Clean and comfy place. Bit quiet. Steamroom can get busy. Big spaces, big steamroom. Crowd mixed sizes n ages. Interests tend more towards own kind. Is a great place to relax. I would suggest making wet area a nude zone.

Much better than I expected, the service was excellent and the place is very well-equipped

I've been going to this sauna regularly for years, most recently yesterday. The sauna is well-equipped and large, but I have to say that the new staff, both at reception/the cash register and at the bar, are very unfriendly. Cleanliness in the various areas of the sauna has also declined.

I go to a lot of saunas..so I visited this sauna too. Impression...none..even I was disgusted by the steam sauna with the stench and mess that was there..condoms and papers on the ground that stuck to your feet.............I don't know what else to add......0 points for me

Franz is extremely rude and unfriendly; I think it would be better if he changed jobs.

Great sauna. Huge space to explore and get lost in. One of the nicest I have been to in Europe. Great staff

Terrible service. The person (bald) at reception was awful. I asked him to speak English more slowly, and he only did what he wanted. He insulted me and told me to shut up! If they treat a young person like that, I can only imagine how they treat everyone else!
