The sauna is regularly cited as one of Germany's best gay saunas not for the scale of its facilities — there are larger saunas in Germany — but for the combination of historic building, neighbourhood location, and social character. The clientele is a mix of hotel guests and local regulars, with the sauna embedded in the same community fabric as the bar upstairs. Entry is available to non-hotel guests.
