Pedion tou Areos ⚠ Unverifiziert Besitzer dieses Ortes?

Pedion tou Areos is a large public park on Alexandras Avenue, north of the centre, with a long history in older gay guides. We found no dated source confirming cruising here now, and Greek media report on its policing and the state of the park. We list it for that history, not as a recommendation. Being gay in a park is legal. A sexual act that offends someone else's decency is an offence under Article 353 of the Greek Penal Code, with heavier penalties if a minor is present. Robbery is a real risk in quiet parks. Attraxx, 8Downtown and the three men's saunas are the legal options; see our Athens cruising guide.
