The furnishings of the rooms, the quality of the food, the exceptional quality of the service all support the hotel's five-star rating. Congratulations to all the staff.
The room itself is nice, although when your son is booking a room with a balcony, a small note that the window and balcony overlook a kindergarten could save you the surprise of children shouting all day. The shower head was leaking, fortunately this was fixed quickly, the air conditioner in the bathroom is terribly loud and you can't turn on the light even to wash your hands without the sound bothering you. The air conditioning is similarly harsh, making it pretty much impossible to sleep next to it. Most of the restaurant dishes were good, although the unnecessary gluten in the dishes was a letdown, as was the lack of gluten-free options or grain-free GM bread. The few dishes that were edible for gluten-sensitive people usually ended up being more or less the same as a gluten-containing dish or vice versa, and the spoons were stacked on top of each other, in case someone used the same tongs to pick up food from both dishes, thus contaminating the originally gluten-free food. The cold cuts tasted stale on the second morning, some of the dishes were cold, and the morning coffee tasted like coffee grounds. The wellness area is adequate, the saunas are absolutely great. The highlight of the place is the staff, who do everything they can to make sure we leave satisfied. The chef came out to explain which food gluten-sensitive people can eat, and the Asian masseuse gave me the massage of my life, precisely injecting needles into sensitive or tense areas, using the right amount of force but not brutally moving out the knots.
