Great hotel, the man in reception is super charming and poor him was the only one working, breakfast is great

Our triple room had a living room and bathroom downstairs, and three comfortable beds upstairs. The room was quiet and clean. The breakfast was good, though mostly savory, with tea and coffee always available. Wi-Fi worked well. The location is about a 20-minute walk from the center. Free parking is available for guests.

Clean, great service, coffee, tea, cold, hot water and cake at 5pm every day.

NOT downtown, but walkable. Breakfast is basic, but adequate. Rooms dated but clean and comfortable.

It's a great hotel considering the price; it has everything you need and can expect from a hotel. The service was excellent. The receptionists were very helpful and didn't hesitate to borrow cutlery or plates. There was also coffee and tea (including hot water) available all day, and free cake around 5:00 PM. Breakfast was basic but had plenty of choice. The rooms were adequate. We were a group of three and had a sort of living room, with the beds upstairs (accessible via the stairs). The location is good, though there's very little to do nearby because it's not in the city center, but it is nice and quiet. The water smelled a bit; I'm not sure if it's safe to drink. The shower was very nice, with a very strong jet. The only downside: there were only two electrical outlets, one of which was for the TV. The two freestanding lamps were practically useless. I had indicated this at check-out and she would make a note of it to improve it.

The girl who checked us in couldn't have been any nicer - a great first impression! Also on the "pros" list: Nice, strong shower. Good view from the room. Good OJ and apple juice at breakfast. Cons: The door sagged and a screw fell out of the lock in our room. My mom's room wouldn't lock at all. No washrag was provided, and the shower curtain would get all over you while showering. Something at breakfast made me sick. The WiFi did not work. Overall: There are probably better alternatives.

We stayed here for 4 days in October 2025 and honestly had such a great experience. The staff were super friendly and helped us figure out the local transport like absolute champs. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast hit the spot every morning, and the evening cake? It was delicious. Huge shoutout to the lovely weekend staff member who helped us store our luggage until we left for Keflavík in the evening — you’re a lifesaver. ❤️ Would 100% stay here again!
