COC Rotterdam Rijnmond

COC Rotterdam Rijnmond, the Rotterdam branch of the Dutch LGBTQ+ organisation founded in 1946, sits on Schiedamsesingel and offers community programmes, support groups and inexpensive drinks on select evenings. The centre is housed in a modest office on Schiedamsesingel, right in the city centre. It’s the Rotterdam arm of COC Nederland, a group that started in 1946. The centre runs community programmes, discussion and social groups, youth activities, coming‑out support and local advocacy. It isn’t a commercial bar. You can drop in on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The drinks are inexpensive. The doors stay open for anyone who wants to learn about what’s happening in Rotterdam beyond the nightlife. Check the website for the schedule of groups on each night.
