The welcome was truly excellent; we felt at ease immediately upon arrival. The staff is exceptional, always available, even in the middle of the night, which is really reassuring and much appreciated. A big 5 stars to the staff for their professionalism and kindness. A great location for exploring Porto. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom Decor is a little dated, but functional. Staff members were friendly.

Cheap, poorly cleaned, room smelled musty, left the room the next night to go elsewhere. No refund available.

EDITED: DON'T COME: The street entrance is an old wooden gate that's a warning sign... If you want to sleep, bring earplugs. Terrible soundproofing in apartments facing a busy street above a burger joint. You can't get a wink of sleep. Plus, you can feel the floor and bed vibrating when heavy vehicles pass through the tunnel or on the adjacent street. It feels like there are constant earthquakes... They don't accept any kind of bank cards. Cash only. They don't give you a receipt or invoice. They cancel your booking on Booking.com claiming you didn't show up to avoid paying the booking fee. The whole thing is 100% shady. Parking is not included. They ask for €20 and require you to leave your car key, which they can manipulate and move to fit other cars in the small parking lot. If they scratch your car, tough luck! The apartment is an open-plan space with four beds in a combined living room and kitchen, and the bathroom has a sliding door that doesn't slide or lock properly. If someone snores, tough luck, there are no other walls. The refrigerator starts making noises, and you spend the night hearing creaking sounds. The receptionist is an older gentleman who speaks only broken Portuguese. He can recite his spiel in Portuguese, and no matter how much you look at him pretending not to understand, he doesn't care. I spent 20 minutes at the counter just to check in and pay. The towels are ancient. There's no shower gel, only a sachet of shampoo. The pillow is like a rock; the filling is one of those old-fashioned ones made of colorful bits of sponge... NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

We paid 130 euros per night for New Year's (2025). The hotel's location is very good, close to Aliados and also near restaurants. I found the room very clean, with air conditioning (hot and cold) and windows with blinds (which makes the room completely dark). The bathroom was small but sufficient for us. It has a mini-fridge. I don't know if it was a problem, but the hotel's hairdryer turns off after 1 minute... It's best to bring your own hairdryer. Clean towels and blankets. The price for breakfast on Booking.com was 10 euros and directly with the hotel 8 euros, I believe that the daily rate purchased directly from the hotel is cheaper than on other websites. Oh, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great experience!

The lady at reception was very arrogant, she yelled at me and called me a liar. It was a terrible experience… I arrived at the counter, nobody said that parking would have to be paid (€35), they asked me for my car keys and the woman didn't even want to give them back… I felt cheated and hated the atmosphere, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Well located, with convenient parking. Generous breakfast. Very professional and friendly staff. Oh, and the rooms have air conditioning that WORKS!

Perfect location right in the city center. Very noisy next door, with a bar playing extremely loud music all night. Cleanliness is nonexistent. There are hairs in the bidet and bathtub. They don't have pillows, they use cushions. Breakfast is average. The parking is a garage for 4 cars. They let us leave the car for an extra 6 hours the next day for €10.
