Best location, I stayed for a wedding and it was in the ball room! The service and location is unmatched, the whole hotel is very historical and has the most amazing paintings everywhere. The ballroom has a roof that literally opens up to reveal the sky, the breakfast is also super nice!

Our stay at Hotel Imparatul Romanilor was absolutely outstanding and exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality by an incredible staff who made us feel like honored guests throughout our entire visit. The hotel itself is beautiful, rich in history, and perfectly located in the heart of Sibiu’s stunning Old Town. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully appointed, providing the perfect combination of elegance and relaxation. Every detail reflected the pride and care that the hotel team puts into creating a memorable guest experience. The breakfast each morning was exceptional. The selection was plentiful, fresh, and delicious, offering something for everyone. It was the perfect way to start each day while enjoying the wonderful atmosphere of this historic property. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its people. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special. Their kindness, attentiveness, and dedication to service were remarkable and greatly appreciated. Whether visiting Sibiu for business, leisure, or a special occasion as we did, I cannot recommend Hotel Imparatul Romanilor highly enough. It is a true gem and one of the finest hotel experiences we have had anywhere in the world. Thank you to the entire team for making our time in Sibiu unforgettable. A lovley hotel in a great location

Hotel Împăratul Românilor – a place with historical charm in the heart of Sibiu A nice hotel, which elegantly preserves the old style and bohemian atmosphere of the city. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are comfortable. However, the bathrooms would benefit from a redevelopment — they retain a style that is too outdated for today's needs. The same goes for the Spa area, especially the massage room, which would need a modernization for a more relaxing experience. The strong point remains the excellent location — right in the center of Sibiu, within walking distance of all the major attractions. A place full of history, ideal for those looking for the classic charm of a cultural city.

Unbeatable overall. The room was comfortable. The interior was beautiful. The breakfast was excellent (they even had prosecco!). The staff were friendly and they kindly gave us a free upgrade. The restaurant was also very good and affordable. The only downside was the pool. It seriously needs renovation. But this is a quibble; the rest of the spa was satisfactory.
