Das Dutch Mill Hotel

Our return trip. Unfortunately our experience isn't as highly rated as our last visit. Decided to come almost last minute. Very friendly welcome. Assigned the same room as last time and it looked exactly the same despite being 6yrs since. Unfortunately for me the stairs were just too much. The bathroom could definitely do with some TLC. Everything very clean. Very thin Downies. Needed to turn heating up, then its too stuffy. So maybe warmer downies!! Breakfast on Sunday was disappointing. Bacon was hard. We each had been given just 1 slice of toast, had to ask for more, which didnt seem to be a problem. During Mondays breakfast we realised we hadnt been offered fruit juice on the sunday. And the food was hotter and freshly cooked. Shame. So didn't enjoy this stay. Our previous comments were: Enjoyed our stay. Staff exceptionally friendly. Very clean hotel. Busy restaurant and Bar and tasty food. We were on the top floor in the attic. Lovely spacious room and huge bathroom just the windows that need some attention. Definitely would go back.

Superb venue for my Mum's 80th Birthday. Buffet excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Staff very helpful and efficient.

Always a good spot to enjoy the Sunday sport, have a burger and a couple of beers.

We had the most wonderful evening at The Dutch Mill, Aberdeen for our mum’s retirement meal, and I honestly can’t praise the team highly enough! From start to finish, the service was exceptional — every member of staff went above and beyond to make the night special. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and served piping hot. The drinks were flowing, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect setting for such an important celebration. A huge thank you to the manageress, Chris, for her wonderful organisation and personal touch, and to the rest of the fantastic team — Carly, Fiona (cant name them all), and everyone else who helped make the evening run so smoothly. Our mum’s retirement meal was a glorious success, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

Delicious food, varied menu & daily specials! Friendly, welcoming staff and family friendly atmosphere. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special! highly recommend

The bar and dinner were a wonderful experience! Excellent customer service at the bar! Wild boar burger was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Sticky toffee pudding was the BEST of our whole trip in Scotland! Highly recommend the restuarant!
