Der Espai LGTBI de Girona ist das LGBTQ+-Gemeinschaftszentrum der Stadt, am Carrer del Torín 8 im Viertel Devesa-Güell in der Nähe des Parc de la Devesa. Es ist ein gemeinsam genutzter Raum der LGBTIQ+-Vereine Gironas und arbeitet mit dem LGBTI-Beratungsdienst der Stadtverwaltung zusammen. Es ist kein Nachtlebenbetrieb. Das Programm umfasst Information, Peer-Beratung, Vorträge, Workshops, Lesegruppen und Kulturveranstaltungen, überwiegend auf Katalanisch. Es ist nützlich für Besucher*innen, die lokale Gruppen kennenlernen oder um Rat fragen möchten. I'm a neighbor on Torín Street. We've been telling them for months that there are sick people in these apartments and that they should buy something to stop dragging chairs and tables around, but they don't listen to us… We've been dealing with this for a long time, and when we go down there, they tell us they can't afford it… It's only €10, mainly for the sick people because some of them are unable to sleep due to their illness, and with all the noise they make—parties, karaoke… It's really bad, you can't talk to them.

Space open in the afternoons from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays they usually have activities like film forums, book club or board games. There is a very good atmosphere. 😊
