Espai LGTBI de Girona

Espai LGTBI de Girona is the city's dedicated LGBTQ+ community centre, at Carrer del Torin 8 in the Devesa-Guell district near Parc de la Devesa. Inaugurated at this address in 2023, it is a shared space run by Girona's LGBTIQ+ associations - among them the long-running Grup de Lesbianes de Girona - and works alongside the city council's SAI LGTBI support service. Rather than a nightlife venue, the Espai is a meeting point for information, peer support, talks, workshops, book clubs and cultural activities. It is the hub around which Girona's queer community organises, including much of the programming for Orgull Gironi, the city's June Pride. Its public calendar lists regular events such as the monthly LGTBIQ+ reading club and open assemblies. Visitors wanting to connect with local LGBTQ+ life in Girona - a smaller, more integrated scene than Barcelona's - will find the Espai the best first point of contact.
