Apartamentos Estrella del Norte

We stayed for work and had a very unpleasant experience at these apartments. After staying for seven days without any problems, on Sunday one of our colleagues had to change rooms due to bed bug bites, and that same night they also appeared on the sofa in another apartment. Faced with this situation, we were forced to leave early, even though we had paid for the last night. The worst part wasn't just the problem itself, but the subsequent handling of it. When we reported what had happened, the accommodation's response was to imply that "we must have brought them ourselves" and question what had occurred, despite the fact that the infestation had been reported and affected two different apartments. Instead of offering a solution or showing concern, their attitude was defensive and unprofessional. A situation like this can happen anywhere, but how it's handled makes all the difference. In our case, the experience and the service we received left much to be desired. We won't be returning, and we certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Great hotel apartments our room had a mini kitchen and lounge

Our stay was extremely disappointing. We only spent one night there, and I know for sure I would never return. The accommodation was very poorly ventilated; from the moment we entered, there was a strong, musty smell. In less than 10 minutes, we found seven cockroaches (many of them on the kitchen counter), and more bugs kept appearing among the armchairs and sheets. Under the armchair, there was even a plastic container and a lot of cobwebs, and the sheets (which we hadn't even used yet) had hair on them. When we first entered one of the rooms we had booked, we saw that the floor was covered in dirt, and there was even a dead worm. The lack of cleanliness wasn't limited to the rooms: even the reception area floor had accumulated dirt, which gives no confidence in the overall maintenance of the place. Furthermore, they charged us an extra €20 because one of the two rooms we booked had a jacuzzi. However, upon opening the lid, we found dust everywhere, and the water was very dirty, with a dark bottom, as if it hadn't been maintained in a very long time. In short, I absolutely do not recommend this accommodation. Frankly, there is no excuse for such a long list of problems.

It was the worst stay of my life. We called this apartment to book a one-night stay and they asked for €100 upfront. Upon arrival, they asked for an additional €20 on top of the agreed price for a Jacuzzi, which we couldn't even use because of its appalling condition. As for the room, after arriving home from a busy day to relax, we found a cockroach infestation, coffee stains under the coffee maker, cobwebs under the armchair, used sheets with hair and bugs on the bed. We had to sleep in the car because it was impossible to stay overnight in those conditions. The next day, when we reported the problem, they told us they had fumigated, which we doubt because we saw more than four cockroaches in less than half an hour. They offered to compensate us when we return, but that's not going to happen. Later we realized we'd been scammed because we still owed €220. We'd already paid €100 upfront, but they still charged us €320 when we arrived. If we hadn't called to complain, they would have kept the rest, after the terrible service they provided. I absolutely do not recommend this place. I'd give it zero stars, but I can't.

A truly passionate stay, its location makes it even more inspiring, as the peace of the days has decided to settle there. Thank you so much for such dedication and maintenance. 👌❤️

The apartment is more than adequate for a few days' stay. The location is quiet and in the heart of the island, so you can easily explore the north or south. There's a restaurant right downstairs with good food called "La Brasa." A pharmacy and bus stop are also nearby. Overall, highly recommended, with great views and friendly owners. I arrived here late one night in an urgent manner after suddenly being unable to drive to my booked destination due to losing my spectacles! They were super accommodating and helpful even very late. The little grocery 'shop' with fresh home grown fruits and vegetables was amazing. Ok it's not a shiny new hotel but it is quiet and peaceful, has everything you need, an incredible view, and you won't find better hosts, truly good people who saved my life that night.
