Kappa Bar

After re-branding the food quality has gone down, expensive, the person who took the order also put in a completely wrong order so I didn't get what I asked for.. The only advantage was that this mistake was cheaper than my original choice would have cost + they forgot to charge for the dish as a menu, so I got a below average burger, but at least free fries. Food that doesn't taste good when you're almost sick to your stomach from hunger and have been drinking, is not good food. At least the drink I ordered was good. Edit: Omg that you accuse someone of an ai-review instead of just taking the criticism.. yeah no I hadn't planned more visits here anyway, but definitely not now..

We visited Kappa Bar and arrived about 15 minutes before our reservation to have a drink at the bar. We were denied this – instead we were asked to order at the table. Once there, I ordered drinks for myself and my friend in conjunction with their “all you can eat” sirloin steak. The drinks were completely forgotten and I had to remind the staff three times before they were finally rushed out. The “all you can eat” concept unfortunately felt more like “all we let you eat”. The service was extremely slow – first one round came, then we waited around 30 minutes for the next. When I asked for two pieces of meat at a time, as I didn’t want to sit for up to 1.5 hours for three pieces of meat, it was a flat no. In the end, some of the party who were already full agreed to more food, so that the rest of us could actually eat a little more. We were a party of six and the experience was unfortunately the most frustrating. It was hard to enjoy the food when the pace was so slow and communication was broken. We ordered beers, a few drinks and a bottle of wine – and it probably would have been more if the staff had actually taken orders in a reasonable time. Overall, it feels completely unacceptable. If you can't deliver on the expectations of an "all you can eat" concept, the concept should be removed. In our circle, the place has unfortunately already become a bit of a joke – even if we can laugh about it in retrospect. The positive: the staff were polite and the food was actually good. Unfortunately, the service and the overall customer experience weigh down the overall impression considerably. EDIT: Suddenly I'm accused by the bar of writing a chatGPT review.. After I prove that I'm a real person then they know exactly what I'm talking about and the excuses start rolling.. Accept the criticism instead of running with your ad hominem arguments. It's unreasonable.

The visit on 30/1 to their “All you can eat” was a disappointment. About 40 minutes waiting for meat – despite the staff claiming that they “had it under control” and served in order of turn. This was clearly not true, as tables further in received several refills before we even got our second round, despite us pointing this out repeatedly. The meat was also cold. And the salad? An absolute disaster – a salad should be more than just iceberg lettuce. Far from acceptable for an All you can eat. And then they have turned off the comments on TikTok where I asked if it will be the same show next time…

Nice staff, good pizza and burgers, very good fries! The non-alcoholic drink was a hit! See you again soon!

VERY poor service and treatment! In mid-December, I and a group of people visited the restaurant to celebrate my boyfriend's 30th birthday. Just 5 minutes after we sat down, we were pressured by the waiter to order. I myself had a hard time deciding on food and drinks, and on the third visit from the waiter to the table I heard the comment "shut up and order" - COMPLETELY unacceptable treatment and TOTAL lack of respect. As if that wasn't enough... one person in the group wanted to order a children's dish because they looked more appealing than the options under "tiny dishes". The response from the waiter was "children's dishes are only for children" - a treatment that is FAR FROM service-oriented and flexible. This was my first visit - and it will definitely be the last. I STRONGLY advise against visiting this restaurant.

Very nice and accommodating staff. The food has more to be desired, small menu and the quality is limited. Full price for example. A burger (180+) but not good, we didn't eat it. Otherwise a fun idea but we won't return.

There were a few people when I arrived, but loud music instead of streams or similar on the TV (Which you think maybe it should be at a gaming bar, thought it would be a bit chill vibes and you could just watch something and eat) felt more like a standard pub or bar, so if the idea is that you want to watch some streams and discuss some games etc. maybe this is not the right place unless you are only looking to play. Or maybe I just misunderstood what a gaming bar is, but that's how I interpreted it when I checked their website. The food is very standard. MVH

Nice quiz nights! Unfortunately limited menu during the quiz and you got very little food for the money. Then it was sad that you couldn't order an extra side order. The food tasted good. We took pulled pork tacos (189kr) where the meat was a bit dry, but good taste. Good nachos that were homemade and the sauce was fantastic.

OBS– Save Your Time and Money I used to love this bar. My friends and I would come here regularly for quiz nights, enjoying the great atmosphere, delicious and affordable food, and generous portion sizes. The beer was reasonably priced, and it was always a fun place to hang out. But ever since their so-called “rebranding,” this place has become an absolute mess. The new menu is a disaster—offering barely three overpriced burgers, none of which are worth the cost. 189sek for a burger that comes with nothing—not even a sad slice of tomato or a piece of lettuce? And don’t get me started on the fries—tiny portions that are honestly laughable. The service has taken a nosedive as well. They were out of ketchup when we asked, and, unbelievably, they ran out of beer on tap. Seriously? It’s a bar! Unless they bring back the old menu and fix their issues, I don’t see this place lasting much longer.

Good vibes, good cocktails, loved the hard shakes but eat before you come here. Ordered pulled pork tacos: tortillas weren't cooked nor fresh (stale and dry) and came out cold twice. Filling was also very stingy, about half the amount of filling you'd expect for a taco; waitress told us it was the last pulled pork in the house. Friend ordered fries which came out cold too. Extra embarrassing that me and my friend are both chefs. Loved the vibe in the house but kitchen needs to pull it together. Pay day weekend and a Saturday, you serve cold food and don't have enough mise? It wasn't even late, c'mon guys.
