HAZ – Queer Zürich (Homosexuelle Arbeitsgruppen Zürich) ist eine der größten und ältesten LGBTQIA+-Organisationen der Schweiz, gegründet 1972. Sie bietet Interessenvertretung, Community-Events, Coming-out- und Peer-Beratung und betreibt eine queere Bibliothek. HAZ hat seinen Sitz im Regenbogenhaus an der Zollstrasse 117, dem Gemeindezentrum der queeren Szene Zürichs. Es ist ein guter erster Anlaufpunkt für Besucher, die sich mit der lokalen LGBTQ+-Community vernetzen möchten.

An incredibly important and valuable place. The Rainbow House is a safe, open, and very welcoming space for the community. I especially appreciate the regular events—they are well-organized, diverse, and create genuine connections, not just scheduled activities. The staff is consistently friendly, respectful, and helpful. You feel welcome, taken seriously, and not judged—which, unfortunately, is still not a given. Another big plus is the library: thoughtfully curated, accessible, and inspiring. It invites you to read, learn, and linger, and perfectly complements the other offerings.
