Pembe Hayat (Pink Life)

Pembe Hayat (Pink Life) is Turkey's first transgender rights association, founded in Ankara in 2006. It advocates against hate crimes and discrimination, provides free legal, health and educational support to trans people, and runs projects such as the Dilek Ince Clothing Bank and a Trans Camp. Pembe Hayat also organizes KuirFest / Pink Life QueerFest, the country's first LGBTI+ film festival. For safety reasons the association does not publish a public street address; contact is made through its website. It is a support and advocacy resource for the community rather than a social venue.
