Very well located near the university, simple, and when the heating broke down they gave us a room across the street in a much better hotel. Very friendly and efficient.

Reception is on another building, and no instructions are provided to find it

The room is so warm and proper heated also room and toilet is neat and clean you you have to check in edgbaston hotel first then 2 minute walk to peter scott house although there is restaurant inside edgbaston which quite expensive and food quantity is also very less you order food uber eats.

Fantastic value for money compared to the cost of a room in the main hotel. I was worried based on some of the previous reviews but my experience was this is a great location to stay when my son had an interview at Birmingham Uni. My documents made it clear you book in and collect your room key from Edgbaston Park Hotel. It is no more than a 3 minute walk. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed / mattress. Quality sheets & towels. The furniture, carpet and bathroom was dated but very well maintained. The shower was really powerful and always had hot water for the 3 showers a day my son has 🙄 I really liked the old fashioned heated towel rail in there. It was in a lovely quiet location. We had a lovely breakfast in the main hotel. I will be back if my son is lucky enough to get a place at the uni.

This hotel looks absolutely nothing like the pictures. Very dated with mouldy, rusty showers. There is one key to gain entry as well as to your room. They tried to say it was safe and your key only has access to your room, yet the cleaner doesn't carry around 200+ keys?! Also kept coming in to my room when I didn't ask for service

The furnishings were nice enough, but the shower turns cold every 30 seconds (literally) and when I was trying to sleep there was an unending droning sound as if a boiler or shower was running next door, to the point where I opted to switch the fan on to its highest setting to try and drown out the noise. My laptop refuses to connect to the WiFi because it detects that the encryption is not properly secured. Would not stay again.

Great value place to stay on the edge of campus. Quiet and comfy.
