Kyle Blue is a budget hostel on a converted boat moored by Museum Street on Bristol's harbourside, close to the M Shed. It is a mainstream hostel listed here as gay-friendly, not a gay venue. Accommodation is mainly bunks in shared cabins, so it suits backpackers and groups rather than anyone looking for a hotel room. The location is central: Wapping Wharf's food and bars, the city centre and the harbour ferries are all walkable, and the gay bars around Old Market are about 20 minutes on foot. Space on board is tight. Reviews are strong (4.7 from about 140).

A wonderful stay with a great view. It's location is perfect, close enough for getting into the city centre to be easy but just far enough to be undisturbed. The shipping containers near by make getting breakfast and dinner a breeze and one of the best cafes in Bristol is just around the corner. Highly recommend.
