The Bristol Hotel

Fantastic stay at The Bristol Hotel Everything about our stay was excellent. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming — from reception to the restaurant, everyone goes out of their way to make you feel at home. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with a smile and genuine care. The team is always attentive and makes sure everything is taken care of without you even having to ask. The food is also outstanding, with great quality and a varied menu. The restaurant service is professional, friendly, and very efficient. Overall, a great experience and definitely the best option in Bristol. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was delicious: sausages, bacon, beans, scrambled eggs, and tomatoes—each dish a top-notch and authentic British breakfast. The breakfast staff were also very friendly and welcoming, thoughtfully asking if we wanted coffee or tea. Each table had a pitcher of milk and sugar cubes to add as desired. Even now, in London, I still miss the breakfast at the Bristol Hotel. The front desk staff were also very polite, friendly, and professional. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Bristol.

Excellent service from all the staff, nothing is too much trouble. The food was well cooked and enjoyable. We will be staying later this year and looking forward to it

I've stayed here twice now. The food is delicious and the rooms are clean but what really makes it for me is the staff. I've had some lovely interactions with the staff,they are professional and friendly, ill be looking forward to staying again. Would highly recommend. Edit to my review-following my most recent stay- Love this hotel, I always stay here when I'm in Bristol. I really wanted to take the time to say a special thank you to Lee the night manager. Last week when I stayed, I was approached by two men, while standing outside the hotel. They were really friendly and happened to be staying at the hotel. We were having a really interesting conversation. But what I appreciated was that Lee had come outside to see if I was OK. He also very casually checked on me later on. As a woman by myself, I really appreciated this gesture. Thank you to Lee for being an amazing human being. Not only did you show concern for my welfare, you also resolved my "air con issue" and got me everything I needed to be settled for the night. May I also take the time to say Thank you to Lydia and Jermaine in the restaurant. Breakfast is always delicious and it's lovely to be greeted by both Lydia and Jermaine. They always provide a personable inviting experience and are super efficient. Thank you

Great meal and very friendly and attentive staff

Amazing food service ambiance. The best pork belly outside of the Basque country congrats Duncan the chef. The seafood from Brixham is everything you can hope for. It is a must try and you will never be disappointed. The service is amazing ask for Javier and Charles they will treat you like Royality and make your night a special one.

I stayed here for 3 nights and it was amazing. The rooms are clean, the bed is confortable and the breakfast is delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful ❤️ The hotel is placed in a quiet and safe neighborhood, 20 min by foot from the suspension bridge and 25 min from the city center.

Very remote and difficult to reach by public transport if you don't know the area. The rooms are in dire need of renovation. Stains on the ceiling are unsightly, and so is rust.

Such a lovely place to stay in Bristol - the nicest staff. Comfy bed, super clean and great breakfast! Would recommend!
