Travelodge London Twickenham

A big and trendy hotel, we got allocated to a guest room facing the approach of train station entrance, on floor 2.

Convenient location, however the lower rooms on the North side are cast in the shadow of the large block looming above from across the other side of the road. The station announcements along with the trains can also be heard from the rooms if the windows are open, both early in the morning and last thing at night. The only Convenient set-down place is down the flight of steps from the bridge to the side of the hotel. No hotel parking available, however I found free on street parking if staying on a weekend around at 10-12 minute walk away at Moormead Road Park via the footpath and footbridge over the railway line. The onsite breakfast/restaurant was good value for money as both my Daughter's ate for a £1.

Stayed here for a rugby weekend. Next door to the railway station and close to pubs and shops. The room was clean and comfy.

I chose this hotel near my friend's house because I was visiting her newborn baby. Since I was staying for over ten days, it was convenient and reasonably priced. The room was clean and had basic amenities, but they didn't provide any toiletries or shower products, and I had to get a hairdryer from the front desk. Please be aware of this!

I had stayed for 2 nights and for my dinner ordered food it was lovely and tasty made by a very good skilled guy who sreekanth served us he made us knicker blocker glory ice cream sunday which was so good and very apetizing to see

I stayed here from last 1 week on the 6th floor and told to reception to give me full service in the room like clean my whole room. Lovepreet cleaned my room and i am really impressed by the way to do his bedding. I really appericate it. Thank you to manager like she has a best housekeeper in this hotel.

I know it's a Travelodge, I sort of knew what to expect when I booked it, so expectations were low, but realistic. Location is great for Twickenham. Parking around the hotel is fairly limited and in the car parks that are around, it is expensive, in the region of £20 a day. There is limited on street free parking just round the corner from the hotel in the street where the multistorey car park is, but you have to be gone for 8.30am. The room I have is very basic, but all I really need is a bed and ensuite. There doesn't seem to be any housekeeping on a daily basis, but you can put a notice on the door for a top up, whatever that may mean. The room was clean so all good on that front. I added the evening meal and breakfast options to my stay, mainly for simplicities sake to avoid having to forage locally for food. The menu is limited and none of the staff seem to be aware what meals are included in the meal deal and generally how it works. Some meals have a surcharge if you want the side dish or dessert on top of the main, but the staff seem to think the dishes with half moon icon next time are the dishes that are in the meal deal. Had to have that chat every meal time. Food came pretty quickly, and the burger I had the first evening was ok, the bun was definitely a bit crispier than I'd have expected, and that was definitely not due to being over toasted. The chips that came with it were verging in undercooked, but I really could be bothered to question it and sent the meal back. Breakfast was pretty good though. Full English available, with scrambled eggs. Coffee machine with a nice cappuccino, cereals, fruit, all the usual. You only get 30 minutes of WiFi per 24hr period, if you want more, £3.50 a day. The meal deal was ok, but if you want a drink with it, a can of 7-Up was £3.15. There were some questionable characters staying there when I was there that mat make some guests uncomfortable with their goings on. Would I stay there again, only if I had to as there was nowhere else available in the area
