Gorgeous Nightclub

Gorgeous is Wolverhampton's only dedicated gay club, on School Street in the city centre, a short walk from the bus station and the railway station. The brand started at the New Inn in 2009 and moved into the former Pepitos restaurant here in 2010. Travel Gay lists it as the city's one gay bar and club, with free entry before 1am on Friday and Saturday, and it was the official pre-party venue for Wolverhampton Pride in 2024. Not every night is a queer night: its Instagram calls it home of the city's biggest afterparty, and some ticketed events are general club nights. Weekend late nights are the safe bet; check Instagram for the line-up. A 2023 planning approval for flats on the site means the club is due to move within the Beatties redevelopment, with no date set.
