Vila Galé Collection Ópera São Luís

Vila Galé Collection Ópera is a new 43-room hotel in a restored historic building on Rua do Trapiche, in the Centro Histórico. It took its first guests on 1 October 2026, and the official opening is set for 27 October, the date of TAP's first Lisbon to São Luís flight. The theme is opera, music and the performing arts. Vila Galé lists an outdoor pool, the Versátil, Inevitável and Massa Fina restaurants, a Portuguese beer hall and the Soul & Blues bar. It's the most upmarket base for walking to the old-town bars. It's a mainstream hotel, not a gay venue.
