Asunción de Pride is Paraguay's national LGBTQ+ march, held each June in one of South America's most overlooked capitals. Paraguay's LGBTQ+ community faces significant social and legal challenges in one of the continent's most conservative countries, and the annual march is as much an act of courage as a celebration.
