Aranwa Pueblito Encantado del Colca
Visitors frequently praise the hotel's beautiful, village-like setting immersed in nature with waterfalls and the Colca River. However, several guests noted that the breakfast buffet was not as comprehensive as expected and some found the rooms could be noisy or warm at night.

A very nice experience, totally worth it. The service was excellent. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast buffet. However, it's an excellent hotel.
A sublime hotel completely immersed in nature. On the banks of the Colca River at the bottom of the valley. Access isn't very easy, but the view of the hotel from above is superb, with the ancient agricultural terraces. The hotel resembles a small village. There are waterfalls everywhere, streams running through the village, fountains, and a park with llamas.
Our visit was unfortunately only for one night. We were received very kindly. We loved the hotel's village-like design; it's right next to the river and just a few meters from some hot springs. If you enjoy nature, it's the perfect place. The facilities are lovely, with a spa, an indoor pool, a restaurant, and even a pool table. They offer activities like hiking, spending time with the alpacas, and if you love hummingbirds, you can see them up close. We were able to book a last-minute appointment at the spa for a head massage, which I highly recommend. Dinner was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Thank you ❤️
A mixed review of our two nights at this hotel • The positives - A large, well-equipped room - The cleanliness of the premises - The pleasant setting with the river below, lovely gardens, and an enclosure with baby alpacas - The spa masseuse • The negatives - The hotel has two swimming pools, but neither is heated, making them unusable (no hot spring; you have to walk a few minutes to the nearby natural hot springs, which cost 10 soles per person, and there's no partnership with the hotel). Furthermore, one of the pools was being renovated, with a strong smell of paint, preventing us from even using the sun deck. - No Wi-Fi in the rooms; you can only connect at reception or in the restaurant. - The rooms are very poorly insulated (we could hear everything our neighbors were doing), and the curtains let in a lot of light. - The spa wasn't heated; my feet were freezing throughout my massage, which wasn't very pleasant. ... - The electrical outlet in the room was burnt out. A mixed review of this hotel, with many minor drawbacks and a somewhat disappointing value for money. Having stayed at Colca Lodge just before, I highly recommend it despite its higher price, as the overall service is of much higher quality.
