The Youth Project

The Youth Project is a Halifax charity that has worked with lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer young people aged 25 and under across Nova Scotia since 1993. From its office on Brunswick Street in the North End it runs peer support groups, social drop-ins and one-to-one support, plus education and training for schools, community groups and service providers. It also handles questions on coming out, gender identity and sexual health, and refers young people on to affirming services. Phone 902-429-5429 or check youthproject.ns.ca for current group times before visiting.
