Inside Out ist Torontos queeres Filmfestival, das seit 1991 stattfindet und heute Inside Out 2SLGBTQ+ Film Festival heißt. Es bietet etwa zehn Tage lang Erstaufführungen, Galas, Kurzfilmprogramme und Q&As mit Filmemachern Ende Mai, alles im TIFF Lightbox an der King Street West, der Heimat des Toronto International Film Festival.
Jede Vorführung benötigt ein eigenes Ticket. Das Programm und die Kasse öffnen etwa drei Wochen vor dem Festival. Ein Teil des Programms wurde auch online angeboten.
Die 36. Ausgabe fand vom 22. bis 31. Mai 2026 statt, mit 29 Spielfilmen und 72 Kurzfilmen aus mehr als 20 Ländern. Die eigenen Materialien des Festivals geben die Besucherzahl mit etwa 35.000 pro Ausgabe an; das ist eine eigene Zahl, und wir haben keine unabhängige Zählung gefunden. Die Termine für 2027 sind offiziell als 20. bis 30. Mai 2027 im TIFF Lightbox bekannt gegeben. Es findet kurz vor Torontos Pride Month im Juni statt, sodass Sie beides auf einer Reise erleben können.
