Holiday Inn Winnipeg South

Very good hotel! The rooms are very clean. They are a little bit old, but still good. I used the laundry and it was very clean. The machines are new. There are many different restaurants nearby and a supermarket. The only big issue I had was parking. I think there was an event at the day I stayed and I had to park on the second level… the roof was so low and I was very worried that I would be stuck. People didn’t respect the parking spaces and it looked like the hotel didn’t do anything about it. But besides that, I would definitely go back.

I've been traveling to Winnipeg for business the last 15 years. I've stayed at this hotel often but prefer to stay at the express near the airport. This location doesn't seem to put the effort in my opinion. I do stay here when it's convenient when I'm working at the stadium down the street. Here's a list of where I think they need to make improvements The parking area is very tight, and when it's busy they have three levels of parking which is nice but if you do go up to those levels the stairwell is in rough shape. Even Smalls of urine which is gross The lower parking area concrete is cracked tripping hazards could use a refresh and they have a smoking area in the parking area. I don't want to have to smell that. The main lobby is upgraded and modern and no issues there The rooms are dated. The hallway has old carpet. The HVAC in the rooms is old. Recently on the 9th floor they upgraded toilets but really missed the mark. They could have put in elongated toilets for more comfort and even soft clothes lids. During my most recent stay My showers were all lukewarm. Couldn't even get a hot shower.

We had a very pleasant stay here. The rooms were lovely and the mattress comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional. What I would really like to point out, are the two young women who worked behind the bar and the dining room. Parvinder and Navjot, were great examples of excellent employees going above and beyond. Not only were they very helpful, they both had an excellent sense of humour. They made our stay, so nice! Could you please pass on our regards and best wishes. Well done ladies.

Clean building and friendly knowledgeable staff. At the restaurant the service was very quick and coffee was always topped up.

This is a solid hotel with a great location on Pembina. The price matches most hotels for this level of service. The rooms are spacious and the beds were extremely soft. All the staff was extremely friendly. A continental breakfast would be nice, but they do offer a $15 breakfast buffet.

Excellent service for dinner. Navjot is very friendly and quick to make sure you have what you need. Bar none friendliest service I've had at a hotel restaurant in months.
