Casa Sabina im Herzen von Mexico City

The staff is incredibly friendly and always available; they even helped us with our return check-in. The facilities are brand new, everything recently renovated, and the location is unbeatable, close to taco stands, local restaurants, and supermarkets. The only downside is that it's not accessible for people with reduced mobility.

On Saturday morning, January 31st, I was looking for a hostel on the street where this hostel is located. I hadn't booked online, but that's what I wanted to do: ask if they had availability. I was looking for somewhere to stay. I went inside to ask for information, but there was no one at reception. From there, I started calling out, "Hello? Good afternoon?" and repeated myself, but no one answered or came over. I waited a while. Then I started going upstairs, hoping to find someone from the staff who could let me know if they could help me. I was holding my 3-year-old son's hand. We weren't making any noise. When I got to one of the higher floors, I found a girl who looked at me strangely, and I politely told her that I wanted information, that I was looking for a hostel that used to be there. She said she didn't know, and I said, "Oh, well, and what are the prices of the rooms?" And she told me, "This is a reservation-only place," and then added, "and no children allowed." When she said that, I was taken aback. Then the girl added, "So I'll show you out," but her tone was very serious and curt. Personally, I felt ignored and neglected. I could have been just another guest. But she was rude for not giving me information, for being closed off to me, and for lying to me about not allowing children. Now, after checking Booking.com, I see that it gives me the option to book with children. What's more, if she wanted me to book, she could have invited me to do so. But she didn't. I read good reviews from other guests, but this was my experience as a potential guest. I'm attaching a photo as evidence that they do allow children. I don't understand why she treated me that way and even lied to me.

Amazing place! Very pleasant, incredibly comfortable, and in an excellent location for visiting tourist sites. The staff were a 1000/10—so friendly and always willing to answer any questions! A big shout-out to Abigail <3 She made us feel right at home throughout our stay, always with a smile and phenomenal service. Nancy's breakfasts were delicious, and her kindness was palpable. Angel is also great if you want to go out; he knows everything and the city very well. And Bruno on the night shift was really cool. Everyone complements each other perfectly to make this place truly fantastic! Highly recommended! We stayed for four days.

I booked one night at the Casa Sabrina Downtown. I wanted to spend a day sightseeing and shopping in the area. The quaint boutique hotel is conveniently located where everything is happening. Walking to distance restaurants, churches, stores, and other activities. I was greeted by a Angel who was friendly, professional and helpful. The rooms are dark so if you are looking for bright aesthetic this is not place for you...lol. The room was clean and tidy. Fyi...if you have issues climbing up stairs don't book this place. The steps are steep! There are no elevators!!! The breakfast was on the rooftop. Nice view overlooking Mexico City. 🇲🇽 The breakfast was just subpar. Wasn't impressed with the options.

It is definitely a very quiet and pleasant place, the staff are very friendly (super attentive) and the facilities are very clean, I recommend it and would stay again.

The location is fantastic, right in the historic center of Mexico City! The staff is incredibly friendly, the service is excellent, and breakfast is prepared fresh every morning. The rooms are clean and decorated in a very modern industrial style, and the beds are very comfortable. Plus, the rooftop bar is perfect for ending the evening. Highly recommended!

I stayed there for two days, and it was spectacular. The rooms are minimalist and unique, and the entire hostel is beautiful, clean, and has a very warm, homey vibe. Everyone who served us there was super friendly and kind, and the service was excellent. It has a beautiful terrace where you can socialize with other guests, and my room's balcony was perfect with a gorgeous view. The hostel's location is ideal because you can easily get to many places of interest. I highly recommend it!
